Notice
If you've been managing your finances with the help of Microsoft Money, you should be aware that Microsoft discontinued all online services and assisted support for all versions of Money on January 31, 2011. (Microsoft discontinued sales of Money on June 20, 2009.) If you're looking for an alternative program, Microsoft has made the Money Plus Sunset versions available as a replacement for the following expired programs: Microsoft Money Essentials, Microsoft Money Deluxe, Microsoft Money Premium, Microsoft Money Home, and Microsoft Money Business. For more information about Money Plus Sunset, refer to this article in the Microsoft Knowledge base: What Is Microsoft Money Plus Sunset?  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2118008/ )

SUMMARY

Limited information is available in MSN Money Investing for Over-The-Counter (OTC) and other special securities such as Preferred, Warrants, Units, and When Issued shares.

Quotes for most OTC and other special securities that are traded in the United States can be viewed in MSN Money Investing. When available, the following data is normally displayed for each security:
  • Last Price
  • Change
  • % Change
  • Volume
  • Day's High
  • Day's Low
  • Open
  • Previous Close
  • Bid
  • Ask
  • 52 Week High
  • 52 Week Low
For some symbols, complete fundamental research information is unavailable. This is at the data provider's discretion and is beyond our control

Sometimes an OTC and other special securities may be unavailable one day, then be available again a few days later. This behavior can be caused by a lack of trading activity. If a security is not traded for three days, it is removed from the MSN Money Investing list of actively traded securities. When the security is traded again, data for the security becomes available in MSN Money Investing.

Note Non-US OTC and other special securities may not be available on the U.S. MSN Money site. More information about these securities may be available on the Canadian, French, German, Great British, Italian, Japanese, Netherlands, Spanish or Swedish MSN Money sites.
