Resolution

Once you encounter these error messages, the only way to salvage your changes is to copy the pages you have changed to a new publication. To do so, follow these steps:
  1. Switch to a page that you have changed.
  2. Click Select All on the Edit menu.
  3. Click Copy on the Edit menu.
  4. On the Windows Start menu, start a new session of Publisher.
  5. In the new session of Publisher, click Paste on the Edit menu.
  6. Repeat steps 1-5 for each changed page.
  7. Save the new publication.
  8. Exit the old publication without making changes. You can open it again and use your new publication to restore the changes.
