SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You install multiple platform servers that contain the Async Service for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0. The servers have the Read Committed Snapshot Isolation (RCSI) feature enabled. When you perform a Bulk Email operation in this scenario, you notice that duplicate emails are sent unexpectedly from each server running the Async Service.

*Though title and symptoms here describes particular issue as Bulk Email operation, any Asynchronous Jobs, like Data Import, are also subjects to be affected by this.
