Introduction

Issues that the update rollup resolves

This update rollup resolves the issues that were documented in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) articles:
  • 957583  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957583/ ) Description of Update Rollup 1 for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration 4.5
  • 957584  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957584/ ) Description of Update Rollup 2 for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration 4.5
  • 969820  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969820/ ) Description of Update Rollup 3 for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration 4.5
  • 977174  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/977174/ ) Description of Update Rollup 5 for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration 4.5
  • 979704  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/979704/ ) Description of Update Rollup 6 for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration 4.5
  • 982215   (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/982215 / ) Description of Update Rollup 7 for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration 4.5
  • 2444344  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2444344/ ) Description of Update Rollup 8 for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration 4.5
This update rollup also resolves an issue that is not documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article:
  • The CreateResourceMailbox procedure in the Hosted Email 2007 namespace fails, and error stack information indicates that the Set-MailboxCalendarSettings command caused the issue. To work around this issue by using this update, you have to add the following XML element to the executeData node of the procedure request:
    <skipMailboxCalendarSetting>1</skipMailboxCalendarSetting>

If you have to set the MailboxCalendarSettings attributes, add a call to the ModifyResourceMailbox procedure afterward.
