SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You install Update Rollup 15 in the Turkish version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.
  • You try to assign a record to a user. For example, you try to assign an activity, an account, and a contact to a user.
In this scenario, you receive the following error message:
Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown.
Additionally, if the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform trace is enabled, you receive the following error message:
IndexOutOfRangeException: ActivityId

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of a case mismatch between "activityid" and "ActivityId."

RESOLUTION
