Summary

Bindings link a task pane app or a content app to a specific section in a document or worksheet. To apply bindings, use the ReadWriteDocument permission in Microsoft Office 2013.

If your task pane app or content app manages bindings, do not use the ReadDocument permission to apply bindings. Microsoft does not plan to support this permission in the future.
