INTRODUCTION

Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft OneDrive for Business 2013. This update provides the latest fixes for 32-bit and 64-bit editions of OneDrive for Business 2013. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.

Issues that this update fixes

  • Assume that you synchronize an Office document between a local disk and OneDrive for Business (formerly SkyDrive Pro). You try to open the local document in an Office desktop application over a slow Internet connection. In this situation, the document takes longer than expected to open.

This update does not replace any previously released update.

How to obtain and install the update

Note This update applies to Office 2013 MSI installations only. This update does not apply to click-to-run installations.

To identify the installation version of Office 2013, follow these steps:
  1. Start an Office 2013 application, such as Microsoft Word 2013.
  2. On the File menu, click Account.
  3. If Office 2013 was installed by using Click-to-Run, an "Update Options" item is displayed. For an MSI installation, the "Update Options" item is not displayed.

Note If OneDrive for Business (formerly SkyDrive Pro) was running when you applied the update, OneDrive for Business (formerly SkyDrive Pro) will have to be restarted for the update to take effect.

Windows 8

  1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search. If you are using a mouse, move the cursor to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click Search.
  2. Type windows update, and then tap or click Settings. Next, tap or click View installed updates in the search results.
  3. From the list of updates, locate and then tap or click update 2767865, and then tap or click Uninstall.


Windows 7
  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. Type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
  3. Click View installed updates.
  4. From the list of updates, locate and then click update 2767865, and then click Uninstall.
