Symptoms

On a Windows HPC Server 2008 R2-based computer that has 32 or more logical processors, the number of CPU cores used is displayed as zero on a heat map.

Note This issue is resolved temporarily when you reduce the number of CPU cores used to 24.

Cause

This issue occurs because the UI on the heat map is overloaded.

Workaround

To work around this issue, reduce the number of CPU cores used to fewer than 24. To do this, run one of the following commands to monitor the number of CPU cores used.
