Symptoms

A Hardware Inventory action does not inventory Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) applications in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
Additionally, the following entry is logged in the AssetAdvisor.log file:
Timed-out running "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Application Virtualization Client\sfttray.exe" /exe "C:\WINDOWS\system32\CCM\VAppCollector.exe" /quiet /launch "<application being inventoried>"
