This article describes Hotfix Package 1 for Microsoft Application Virtualization 5.0 Server Service Pack 1.Note
We recommend that you test hotfixes before you deploy them in a production environment. Because the builds are cumulative, each new hotfix release contains all the hotfixes and security fixes that were included with the previous update package. We recommend that you consider applying the most recent fix release that contains the most necessary hotfixes.
This hotfix package addresses the following issues.Issue 1
When you use the server features of Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V) 5.0 to define connection groups, the connection group priority is always published as 0
This problem occurs regardless of what setting is applied to the connection group priority.
This problem occurs because the connection group priority is retrieved incorrectly from the Management database. Therefore, the connection group priority is always retrieved as 0
To resolve this problem, apply this hotfix before you set the connection group priority.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

The "Hotfix download available" form displays the languages for which the hotfix is available. If you do not see your language, it is because a hotfix is not available for that language.
To apply this hotfix, you must have Service Pack 1
for Microsoft Application Virtualization 5.0 installed.
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. To make sure that this update is applied successfully, stop the IIS AppV Management Service, apply the update, and then restart the IIS AppV Management Service.
This hotfix does not replace any previously released hotfix.
This hotfix updates the build number to 5.0.1211.0
