When you run the dbcc shrinkfile
statement by using the logical name of a file in a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 or Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database, you may receive the following error message:
Msg 8985, Level 16, State 1, Line 2
Could not locate file 'test_log_issue_log' for database 'test' in sys.database_files. The file either does not exist, or was dropped.
Hotfix for SQL Server 2008 SP3
