Symptoms

When you are copying files from one folder on a local Novell NetWare server to another by using the Novell NDS client on your Windows XP-based computer, the copy process may be slow. The amount of time that is taken for the file copy process with Windows XP may be more than the amount of time that is taken with Microsoft Windows 2000.

Resolution

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows XP Service Pack 1.
