When you view a Word 2003 document in Reading Layout view, some
of the text may appear to be missing or some of the text may overlap other
To view a document in Reading Layout view,
click Reading Layout
on the View
This behavior occurs if the document contains text in
a table. Word 2003 may not be able to accurately show the text in the table when
the table extends beyond one page in Reading Layout view.
To work around this behavior and view the document in
Reading Layout view, use one or both of the following methods.
Method 1: Use Actual Page Mode

To change the compatibility settings for the document, follow
- In Word 2003, open the document.
- On the Tools menu, click
