SUMMARY

Microsoft has released the Office 2000 Hungarian Proofing Tools post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package for Microsoft Office 2000. This article describes the following items about the hotfix package:

INTRODUCTION

This article describes the Microsoft Office 2000 issue that is fixed in the Office 2000 Hungarian Proofing Tools post-Service Pack 3 (SP3) hotfix package that is dated January 22, 2004.

Issues that are fixed in the hotfix package

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package, but was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • When you try to check the spelling and the grammar in an Office 2000 document, Microsoft Word quits unexpectedly without an error message. This problem may occur when all the following conditions are true:
    • The document contains Hungarian language text.
    • The text is formatted with a logo font.

Prerequisites

  • The optimized and full-file versions of this hotfix are a post-Office 2000 SP3 hotfix. To install the hotfix, you must have Office 2000 SP3 installed.
