When you copy new printer driver files for a shared printer to a print server that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, the printer may not be able to use the new printer driver files.

This problem may occur if the existing printer driver files were in use when you copied the new driver files to the print server. After you restart the print server, the printer may still not be able to use the new printer driver files.
