SYMPTOMS

After you set the Block alerts and set status to "Busy" when running full-screen programs option in Microsoft Windows Messenger, you may experience the following symptoms:
  • When you maximize a program, My Status in Windows Messenger changes to Busy. This is the expected behavior when you maximize programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint or Microsoft Windows Media Player.
  • When you minimize or exit the program that was maximized, and you do not have any other program maximized, My Status in Windows Messenger does not change back to Online. It is expected that My Status changes to Online when you do not have programs maximized.
  • You must manually set My Status in Windows Messenger to Online.
