If you have the Windows Security
dialog box open on your Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based or Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)-based computer, the screen saver does not start as expected. Instead, the desktop is displayed. Notes
- When you start Task Manager and then click the Applications tab, the screen saver process appears to be running.
- When you press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, you receive a message that your computer is locked.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
