Remove third-party products

Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
To remove third-party products, and then restore Zoo Tycoon to its original state from backup files, follow these steps:
  1. Right-click Start, and then click Explore.
  2. Click the hard disk where Zoo Tycoon is installed.
  3. Double-click the Program Files folder, double-click the Microsoft Games folder, double-click the Zoo Tycoon folder, and then double-click the Updates folder.

  7. Click the hard disk where Zoo Tycoon is installed.
  8. Double-click the Program Files folder, double-click the Microsoft Games folder, and then double-click the Zoo Tycoon folder.
  9. The Zoo Tycoon folder contains several files that have names that are similar to the following:
    • Langxxx.dll
    • Langxxx.dll.backup.yyy
In these file names, xxx is a number such as 0, 100, or 200, and yyy is a number such as 001, 002, or 003--for example, ELang100.dll and Lang100.dll.backup.002.

    3. Right-click each langxxx.dll.backup.yyy file that remains, and then click Delete.
