In a cluster environment, you install a stand-alone instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 on one node. After you do this, you install a clustered instance of SQL Server 2005 for the cluster. When you change the SQL Server service account for the clustered instance, you may receive the following error message:
The system cannot find the file specified.

This issue occurs because of incorrect logic that occurs during the SQL Server service account change. This issue occurs in certain configurations in both clustered and non-clustered instances.
