INTRODUCTION

This article describes updated e-mail addresses that you can use to report both of the following kinds of problems in Sybari Antigen 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange:
  • False positives
    These are legitimate e-mail messages that the Antigen 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange SpamCure engine identifies as unsolicited commercial e-mail (UCE). UCE is also known as spam.
  • False negatives
    These are UCE e-mail messages that the Antigen 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange SpamCure engine identifies as legitimate e-mail messages.

MORE INFORMATION

If you determine that the SpamCure engine incorrectly identifies certain kinds of e-mail messages, you can submit these e-mail messages to Microsoft for more analysis.

Important These e-mail addresses are available only for reporting incorrect e-mail identification by the SpamCure engine.

False positives

To submit legitimate e-mail messages that the SpamCure engine incorrectly identified as UCE, use the following e-mail address:
notspam.mail-filters@antigen.microsoft.com

False negatives

To submit UCE e-mail messages that the SpamCure engine incorrectly identified as legitimate e-mail messages, use the following e-mail address:
spam.mail-filters@antigen.microsoft.com
Note These e-mail addresses replace earlier e-mail addresses that appear in the Readme.txt file that is included with Sybari Antigen 8.0 for Microsoft Exchange build 1517 and earlier builds.
