You insert an object into a document in one of the 2007 Microsoft Office programs that are listed in the "Applies to" section. For example, you insert one of the following objects into a document:
  • A Microsoft Excel worksheet
  • A Microsoft PowerPoint slide
  • A Microsoft Word document
You edit the object in place in the program. When you press ALT, the program's Ribbon KeyTips are not displayed as expected.

To work around this issue, press F6 to show the Ribbon KeyTips.

For more information about shortcut keys and about how to navigate the Ribbon, click Microsoft Office program Help, type ALT in the Search box, and then click Search to view the topics that are returned.
