SYMPTOMS

You are using a client computer that is in the GMT+x time zone. You create a Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0-based application that uses a method of the ActiveDirectorySchedule class to make the replication for a site link available only in a specific time period. After you do this, the replication is available for all time periods.

Additionally, the following error messagemay be logged in the Systemlog on the domain controller.
Event Type: Error
Event Id: 1381
Source: Inter-Site Messaging
Description: The schedule attribute of siteLink object sitelink name is invalid. This schedule will be ignored.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because a schedule attribute for the site link is formatted incorrectly. The Intersite Messaging component runs asynchronously when you create or modify the site link. After the method of the ActiveDirectorySchedule class is called, the Intersite Messaging component checks the schedule attribute, and then it resets the value for full replication. Therefore, the replication for the site link is available for all time periods.
