In Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, you have a solution that uses Visual Studio Team System 2008 Team Explorer for source control. When you right-click the project name of a project that is included in the solution, the shortcut menu does not appear for many seconds. This issue is likely to occur when the solution contains more than 100 projects.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
