SYMPTOMS

When you specify a "Parent Downloaded" filter to download the records of a Custom entity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, the "Parent Downloaded" filter on the Custom entity does not work as expected. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • You have full organization rights on the Custom entity.
  • You have the Read-Only privilege on another entity that is the parent entity of the Custom entity.
  • You go offline in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM client for Microsoft Office Outlook.
  • You specify a "Parent Downloaded" filter to download the records of the Custom entity that are related to the parent entity of the Custom entity.

RESOLUTION
