INTRODUCTION

This article describes a hotfix rollup that corrects several problems in Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 Service Pack 1. This hotfix rollup contains all the fixes that were released in the previous Microsoft Dynamics AX hotfix rollup packages. The build number of this hotfix rollup is 4.0.2500.581.

This hotfix rollup resolves the following problems in Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 Service Pack 1.

Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 unexpectedly generates different voucher numbers for each depreciation line

When you create a depreciation proposal, Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 unexpectedly generates different voucher numbers for each depreciation line. This problem occurs even if the fixed asset depreciation journal uses the One voucher number only setting.

Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 does not consider a line discount of a project quotation

Consider the following scenario. You create a project quotation that contains a line discount. Then, you transfer the quotation to an order. Next, you create a picking list, and then you invoice the order. In this scenario, Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 does not consider the line discount of the project quotation.

A supported hotfix rollup is now available from Microsoft. The hotfix rollup corrects the problem that is described in this article. Apply the hotfix rollup only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix rollup.
