SUMMARY

This article describes the 2007 Microsoft Office system issues that are fixed in the 2007 Office system hotfix package that is dated November 19, 2008.

INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issues that are not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • In Microsoft Office 2007 Language Settings, you select the Set the Microsoft Office display language to match the Windows display language option. However, after you change the Windows display language to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) (zh-TW), the Office display language does not change to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) (zh-TW) as expected.
  • In a Microsoft Office Word 2007 document, you insert a Microsoft Office Excel worksheet that contains a chart as an embedded object. You save the Word 2007 document as an XPS Document format (.xps) file or as a PDF format (.pdf) file. After that, you notice that the chart is displayed incorrectly in the .xps file and in the .pdf file.
  • 960247  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960247/ ) The "Choose a digital certificate" dialog box appears behind the Internet Explorer window in Windows Vista when you try to open an Office file from a site that requires digital certification
  • On a client computer that is running the English version of Windows Vista, you install the 2007 Office system. After that, you do not start any 2007 Office applications. In this case, when you try to uninstall an application for the first time, Windows Explorer may stop responding. For example, if you try to uninstall such as Adobe Acrobat Reader for the first time, Windows Explorer may stop responding.
