When you try to add files to Source Code Control (SCC) on a computer that has Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Foundation Server Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed, you receive the following exception message:
Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

InvalidArgument=Value of '-1' is not valid for 'index'.
Parameter name: index
This problem occurs when you try to add files by using one of the following methods:
  • By using the Source Control Explorer shortcut menu
  • By clicking the Add Items to Folder toolbar button
Note When you drag and drop files to add them to SCC, the operation works.
