Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 fix release.

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You restore a SQL Server 2000 database in Microsoft SQL Server 2008. In the database, a default is bound to a column in a table. When you try to unbind the default from the column by using the sp_unbindefault stored procedure, you receive the following error message:
Msg 208, Level 16, State 77, Procedure sp_unbindefault, Line 110
Invalid object name ' '.
When you change or remove the default by using SQL Server Management Studio, you receive the following error message:
'Table Name' table
- Error modifying column properties for 'Column Name'.
Invalid object name ' '.
This issue also occurs if you try to unbind a rule by using the sp_unbindrule stored procedure.
