SUMMARY

This article describes the Microsoft Office 2003 issue that is fixed in the hotfix package that is dated February 24, 2009.

INTRODUCTION

This hotfix fixes the following issues:
  • When you use a mandatory profile, you cannot save or open a PowerPoint presentation, an Excel workbook, or any applications that require RC4 encryption. For example, you cannot do the following:
    • You cannot save a PowerPoint presentation if the presentation has a password that is set to the Password to Open field or to the Password to Modify field.
    • You cannot open a PowerPoint presentation that is protected by a password from another user. This is because there is no read-only option.
  • When you open an ASPX page, the window title of the Office application displays the name of the ASPX page instead of the real Office file name.
