After an unsuccessful scan engine update and engine rollback in Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server, all e-mail messages are archived. Additionally, Forefront Security for Exchange Server continually logs the following errors in the ProgramLog.txt file:
ERROR: An exception has occurred within ForefrontAgent's Scan method. Exception message = "Value does not fall within the expected range."
INFORMATION: ArchiveMailMessage called to archive <drive>:\Forefront\Data\Archive\<number>.eml
To resolve this problem, install Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server Service Pack 2 (SP2).
