SYMPTOMS

Consider the scenario:
  • You define a filter that resembles the following filter in Microsoft Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) 2010:
    Log Time: Last 24 Hours
    Destination IP Greater or Equal: 192.168.0.1
    Destination IP Less or Equal: 192.168.0.254
  • You run a log query.
In this scenario, the IP addresses that are in the query results do not match the IP addresses of the IP address filter conditions that are in the filter.

Note The same issue occurs when the Client IP or Original Client IP column filter condition is specified in the filter.

RESOLUTION

Service pack information

This problem is fixed in Forefront TMG 2010 Service Pack 1.

The global version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. This problem was first corrected in Forefront TMG 2010 Service Pack 1.
