SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a computer that has Windows Internet Explorer 8 installed.
  • On this computer, you run an application that hosts the WebBrowser control.
  • This application uses the IOleCommandTarget::Exec() API to run the IDM_SHOWZEROBORDERATDESIGNTIME command ID. This command ID should draw a gray border around block elements in the design mode of Internet Explorer.
In this scenario, the IDM_SHOWZEROBORDERATDESIGNTIME command ID does not work correctly and the gray border is not drawn.
